Review of Southern Sun HotelDuring our recent family vacation at the Southern Sun, we encountered a mix of experiences. The check-in process was slightly slow, but the staff was efficient once we reached the counter. Our room, located on the second floor, offered a comfortable stay and was as expected, although the bathroom was on the smaller side. The hotel's swimming pool area was outstanding, providing endless enjoyment for my daughter, who swam for hours. The facilities are well-maintained, with the air conditioning effectively keeping our room cool throughout the night. Breakfast was disappointing due to limited options. As someone who doesn't eat pork, I found the alternatives insufficient, lacking variety for kids, such as pancakes or muffins. Nevertheless, one waitress particularly stood out for her kindness, ensuring my elderly mother received the food she needed without having to serve herself. The Southern Sun is a family-friendly environment, ideally situated for accessing local amenities and shopping.
